Sorry again for the lack of updates, but this recent spell of hot weather hasn't been at all conducive to writing or thinking deeply. I'm taking a break until this heatwave breaks properly.

I probably should have said this earlier, but are you guys OK to come back to this?

Antartica's been dormant for most of the previous turns, you just need to catch up on world events. Which in a nutshell is no more pan-Asia and space colonies.

Hey, I'm still here too. The recent hot weather has put me off writing but the heatwave seems to be cooling off a bit now so hopefully we can start playing again soon.

It's kind of sad how often I check this site.

(Better to think of it as a testament to how great this game is.) ;)

With the possibility that the war on Mars might spill over, I'd like you all to PM me the amount and current deployment/mobilisation status of all your military units. Don't worry if you haven't been keeping track yourself, that just means I'll have to look through your old turn PMs to work out the numbers, relay them to you and then you can tell me their location and status.

Do you mean our total amount or just the ones deployed on Mars?

Total, because units can be moved from planet to planet.

Scratch that, obviously didn't turn out the way I thought. I'll send you my turn make up right now though.

Just to let you all know, I've been having internet connectivity issues over the past couple of days, but now it seems to be in working order again I can get working on the next turn.

No worries, I'll post some stuff once I have a little more time to do so. If not today, then later this week.

Edit - perhaps folks should post something to let everyone know they're still here?

I'm back.

I'm gonna be posting regularly now as the game has slowed down a lot this year and I would like to see it pick up in pace.

I'm definitely going to be making an effort to be more timely in my updates, the recent slowness has had me kicking myself as I'm pretty sure I'm the one to blame.

I think the slowness in the game is all our fault. If some people cease posting regularly then the burden of continuing the story and posting falls upon fewer and fewer people which means they end up having more to do. This slows things down as less people have to be even more creative and post more to keep the game going. I remember when the game had a lot of players and posters in it, things moved faster back then. If we all keep posting and maybe even get a few new people into the game, I think that then things will pick up in pace.

Well, most of my actions will probably consist of buying ground forces most of the time and throwing them at the Warmachine in hopes the Sanctum gets its act together, so if you really need the Watchmen's input that's the standard stuff. If something else is needed, message me and I'll respond promptly.

But yeah, as Mather said, I think we don't really put too much i n and get the ball really going. I'll try to be active on December, but I'm already late with my New Years resolutions for Omniverse One and just trying to get as much as I can done.
